He won’t recover from it, that’s something I feel sure about. You know this is a marathon of sorts as well. I don’t mind him finishing his current lap so we don’t have the sprinters worn down by the media meat grinder. Timing is an issue for sure, things are earlier, but also more staggered with the primaries shifting.

Since it is no big deal to you, maybe you wouldn't mind siding up with the unborn anyway. They can use your help. Bill Clinton was a no name before he became President. Duncan Hunter is a no name now. Hunter may not have a name, but he does have a great record. A record that says he stands for life. If you don't think he won't be strong on security and the WOT, please allow me:
There is no person running that deserves to be our President more then Duncan Hunter:

Also, he voted for the war in Iraq and his son is on his third tour of duty in Iraq. May God Bless him and all our Troops. Give me a candidate who believed in the war so much that he voted knowing his son could go there. Hunterd has not wavered, tired, faltered, or failed our Troops either. Also, Hunter was a Ranger right? Hunter knows that failure is not an option.
Hunter also has a A+ rating from the NRA and has fought to keep God in public view. Hunter also slowed the flood of illegal immigrants to a trickle in the Sand Diego area. He had a wall put up and it is working too.
Duncan Hunter is a good man. I ask you to consider him. Your help would be appreciated by the unborn, gun lovers, God lovers, and Troop lovers too.
Maybe he will end up Hillary’s running mate.

We've had Libertarians running against the Republicans.

BTW, I am a Southern Republican, having been born and raised there, and my family is still there.
However, I do have a bit of insight into western politics, as well.
Kalifornia is leading the country, and in the wrong direction.
I haven't heard, but I don't think my God is going to be happy with the killin of all those babies. I am told that He knew me when I was in the womb. Why wouldn't He know those who are murdered in the womb too?

I watch the polls because it’s fun, but I don’t put much stock in them at this point. I’m skeptical, to say the least, about Giuliani’s chances in the general because of the fundamentals. I think it’s nearly a certainty that should Giuliani win the nomination, a third party will drain off his support on the right.
I suppose it’s possible that Gore could jump in as a Green, we could have duelling third parties on the left and right, and the pub and dem candidates could battle it out for 31% of the vote to win. But that seems to me like a real long shot. I think our chances are infinitely better with a candidate who can win all sections of the GOP — social conservatives, libertarians and national security folks. I think Thompson could do it, and Romney might too.
Who knows, though — my magic eight-ball isn’t very reliable. I guess time will tell.
Maybe he will run on the democratic ticket.
