"FOX News has also learned that there were 19 traffic citations against the Duka brothers, but according to a federal law enforcement source, because they operated in so-called "sanctuary cites," where law enforcement does not routinely tell the Homeland Security Department about illegal immigrants in their towns, none of the tickets raised red flags."
Here's the simple proposition that liberals and RINOs will never grasp: one way to get SOME potential terrorists (such as some of the 9/11 terrorists who ran afoul of the law) off the streets and (hopefully) out of our country is to strictly enforce all of our laws. That way, every time a potential/future terrorist runs afoul of immigration and other statutes, they get caught up with law enforcement. Ideally they get deported! That way we do not have to wait for the Lynne Stewarts of the world to protect their "right" to commit terrorism against our citizens.

Someone needs to forward this story to O’Reilly and Hannity. They’ve been fighting against “sanctuary” cities for some time now.

I've long suggested a three-point plan for dealing with illegal immigrants. It doesn't require mass deportation, and it effectively deals with those who are most troublesome.
In a nutshell, it is as follows:
1. Illegal aliens have no standing in U.S. civil courts -- either as plaintiffs OR defendants.
2. Illegal aliens arrested for violent crimes will automatically have an additional felony for illegally entering the country -- which would carry a MANDATORY ten-year prison sentence in addition to any other sentence related to the crime -- added to the list of charges.
3. All criminal cases involving illegal aliens -- or, at a minimum, all felonies involving illegal aliens -- will be adjudicated by military tribunals. These people will be treated as prisoners of war, for all intents and purposes. A person who enters this country illegally and assaults someone isn't a "criminal" in any sense of the word . . . he's a freakin' invader.
