Yep. You can teach yourself to use a handgun effectively out to twenty yards. Its virtually impossible to do so with this type of weapon with the ranges involved.
Allowing for the earths rotation comes to mind....(chuckle)
It think the Paris gun had that issue, but I can’t think of any others...
