Then maybe it is time to institute a "pay your fair share" clause. No pay, no vote.

Chief Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes once said, "Taxation is the price of citizenship."

So for people to be considered equal citizens, and thus have an equal vote, they need to pay taxes equal to that of everyone else.

Best of luck. I’d love to listen to an EIB orchestrated debate, but the logistics would be massive with no pay-off for Rush other than being thrown under the bus by 1) the media 2) the liberals and 3) any conservative and/or Republican who feels their guy was slighted (and you know that would happen). I just don’t see the up-side for El Rushbo and I think he’d react to the idea as doing more harm than good.

I’ll consider myself lucky if Rush gives the anointed nominee a couple of phone-in segments the week before the election.
