Following are some details from reports around the Web:
- The Philadelphia Inquirer has details on the suspects employers. The three suspects who are brothers work for their own construction company, which does business under the names Colonial Roofing and National Roofing. The other three were employed by a 7-Eleven convenience store, a Shop-Rite supermarket and a taxicab company, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
-
The Courier Post talked to neighbors of the house that was raided Monday night, who said that they never saw anything suspicious. The house was always buzzing with visitors, children played outside and residents exchanged pleasantries.
- Serdar Tatar, one of the suspects, never made a delivery from his fathers restaurant, an employee told the Post. That seemed to contradict another suspects claim that Mr. Tatars delivery experience at Fort Dix was a key factor in choosing the target. But the employee started eight months ago, leaving the suspect with plenty of time.
- The Pocono Record interviewed a regular at the Gouldsboro Rifle Range in Pennsylvania. The suspects were bad shots, he said.
- Little Green Footballs applauds the real heroes of the investigation: the video store worker who called authorities when the suspects dropped off terror training videos to be copied.
- Counterterrorism Blog: The obvious question is how did they enter the US?

When I first heard that six of these people planned on hitting Ft. Dix my comment was they must be nuts, crazy or have no clue.
I have to go through security there sometimes. My product deliveries have to go through security all the time.
These are pure militant idiots.

The house was always buzzing with visitors, Reminds me of the neighbors we had at the first house we bought.
His name was "The Scarecrow."
There were always people driving in and out of his driveway.
Turned out he was dealing drugs.

Yes, we really need to keep supporting illegal aliens, especially the increasing number of Jihadists....Fort Dix anyone?? We should make sure we keep our borders open and keep encouraging and tolerating illegals -— maybe next time these crazies might be successful and kill alot of people...
To all those in our government that pander to, and support and encourage illegals... HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR ATTITUDE NOW ???

The usual suspects in congress will be saying in that this is not a real terrorist threat.

I didn’t hear anything about this and I live in NJ - when did it break?
Other thought - for Muslim Yugoslavians, they sure don’t seem grateful for any US efforts on their part.

I don’t think we’re going to find you can put “grateful” and “muslim” in the same sentence.

I can’t tell you how relieved I am that they didn’t go to my gun club. (We’re just 8 miles or so as the crow flies from Ft. Dix)

Early this morning my local radio station (Which uses ABC news) called the six guys “homegrown fundamentalists”. This was repeated twice and not one word about illegal aliens nor mooselims.
I hate the drive by media.

Until I see massive and drastic changes within the rugrider world toward complete moderation I will maintain my current trajectory of not trusting a single one of them and refusing to do business with any of them.

Is there any connection with these individuals to the KLA?
To: ricks_place
Very common in the southerly counties. It’s a peninsula so the south is far more moderate than the very north. It’s the difference between Baltimore and Boston in terms of weather.
