2006 ExxonMobil $39.5B profit on $365.5B revenue, 10.8% profit

If small companies profits rocketed at 10.8%, they won't be in business very long. 10.8% is a paltry percentage, but I've never seen any company spend percentages. They spend dollars.

I begrudge no company that can make a great profit. Those companies employ thousands of workers. Now, if the damn government and eco-terrorists would get out of the way, the oil companies can reinvest their profits into new refineries.

BINGO!
Where does everybody think that $39B goes? Right back into the economy, in the pockets of a lot workers of both white and blue collar, with a multiplier effect.
Hey, I don’t care what the CEO of my company gets as long as *MY* salary goes up as well.
