A bill was introduced before the VT massacre to allow people with handgun permits to carry guns in state parks. Lawmakers feel there will be a more favorable atmosphere for the bill's passage given the recent events.

Sure might have made a difference when the women were killed by black bears in the Smokies in TN.

I once had a concealed carry permit in Tennessee. I hope this bill passes.
