my husband and I joke that pretty soon the parents of baby boys will be sent home with their ritalin prescription and “learning disabled” label already in place.
On a mother’s forum I go to, one poster was talking about her 2.5 year old being diagnosed with ADHD!! The 2 older brothers have it, or have been diagnosed with it, and are on ritalin (or something similar) and the ped. wants to get the youngest on it as soon as possible.
I would yank my kids out of that doctors office immediately if that happened to me. How can it be safe to medicate such a young babe that way?
