Led by House Ethics Committee chair Stephanie Tubbs Jones, the House of Representatives on Wednesday unanmiously agreed to loosen strict rules on members' acceptance of free airplane rides that were adopted when Democrats took over Congress in January.

The measure, adopted on a May 2 voice vote minutes before the House of Representatives adjourned at 11:59 p.m., was labeled as an effort to "clarify certain matters relating to official conduct" of the House of Representatives.

Every so quitely Democrats are reversing everything they did for appearances sake in January 07.

Nothing good happens in the Capitol after 7pm. The seargent-at-arms should clear out the building using all force necessary to get the Reps and Senators into the bars where they belong at that hour. Drunk on a barstool is a far better place for them than voting on legislation.

After visiting every House site, all I have to say is WOW do we have a lot of blowhards leading these committees. Most of their priorities have very little to do with their committee's responsibilities.

Also of note, there isn't a House Ethics Committee. It is called the Committee on Standards of Official Conduct.
