Texas style :-)
I'd sure like to know what "THE QUEEN" is carrying around in her pocketbook. She never let's it out of her grasp, LOL!

Gee, we had the same thing for dinner.
I think my invitation got lost in the mail.
Did Bush really say the Queen was here in 1776?
Sure wish ‘someone’ could post pictures for those of us without the ways & means of watching this...please :)
Yes he did. I believe it was at the garden lunch today. He stopped, corrected himself, looked sheepishly over at the Queen, then turned back to the microphone and said something to the effect: She gave me the kind of look a mother gives a son.
sw
Funny, Roxanne Roberts talking about seeing the queen earlier and commenting that the Queen was wearing hot pink even though someone said, you’re not able to describe the as hot in any form whatsoever...ha ha ha. (I didn’t think that was nice...)
Then she was asked was she able to shout a question at the queen, and Roxanne says, oh no, to shout a question that would be such bad behavior and we’re terrible well behaved...
Right....
. . . the pocketbook is a mystery — although, I must say I’m rarely without mine!
Naa he started to say 17 and then quickly corrected himself saying 1976.
Rats. Had a very pertinent of a little American traitor dressed up as a British redcoat. The British now may be a very close ally, but the British of that era were among the greatest enemies this country has faced. The late eighteenth and early nineteenth century British (barring the War Between the States) were the only people to invade this nation and occupy and raze American cities.
It's also on CSPAN 2
Methinks they're planning to take it with them after "round 2".
Actually, kudos to Reid for this—though his intent was probably not the same as personal opinion on this.
You do not want to see pictures of the Washington Post’s Roxanne Roberts in her sleazy outfit. She’s being interviewed by C-SPAN on the White House lawn. Her low cut dress keeps sliding off her shoulders. The neckline plunges to her bellybutton (almost.)
"The American people are proud to welcome your majesty back to the United States, a nation you've come to know very well. After all you've dined with 10 U.S. presidents. You've helped our nation celebrate its bicentennial in 17 -- in 1976," Bush said.
Bush looked at the Queen sheepishly. She peered back at him from beneath her black and white hat.
"She gave me a look that only a mother could give a child," Bush said as the crowd burst into laughter.
Apparently, Harry Reid will not attend. Should be a fun party! (Still waiting for C-Span 2 to go live...)
