But Mormons are NOT christians. Anyone who believes that Jesus is a spirit brother of Satan (yes, they do believe this) and that Mormons will all be gods like Christ is (yes they believe this too) is not a christian.
That is opinion. Opinions vary.
From the Mormon web site...

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was the Creator, He is our Savior, and He will be our Judge.
Under the direction of Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ created the earth (John 1:10, Hebrews 1:2).
When Jesus lived on the earth (approximately 2,000 years ago), He led a perfect life. He taught by word and example how people should live in love of God and others.
Through His suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane and by giving His life on the crossthat is, by performing the AtonementJesus Christ saved all of us from our sins as we follow Him. Because of the Atonement, we can be forgiven of our sins when we sincerely repent.
Through His Resurrection, Jesus Christ saved us from death. Because He overcame death, we will all be given the gift of resurrection (Acts 24:15, 1 Corinthians 15:22).
When life on this earth is over, Jesus Christ will be our Judge (Acts 10:42, Acts 17:31).
I am Mormon. Not wanting to argue but just to clarify some misunderstandings. Yes, we believe that Satan was also a spitit child of God who rebelled against God and became the Father of Lies witht the goal of dragging everyone else down with him. As to being gods...we believe that God is our Literal Father and as such wants those who prove to be righteous (Moromn or not) to learn all that He knows and to share in all that He share. Again, I am not trying to start an argument but wanting to clear that all up. If you disagree then that is fine.
Exclusion by special definition1 What is a Christian? The term is found three times in the New Testament (Acts 11:26; Acts 26:28; 1 Pet. 4:16), but it is not defined in any of those passages. According to Websters Third New International Dictionary, the term Christian may be defined in a number of ways, but the most common is one who believes or professes to believe in Jesus Christ and the truth as taught by him one whose life is conformed to the doctrines of Christ. The second most common meaning is a member of a church or group professing Christian doctrine or belief.
Under either of these two definitions, Latter-day Saints qualify as Christians. However, if a special definition is created under which Christian means only those who believe as I do, then others might claim Latter-day Saints arent Christiansbut all this would really mean is that while Mormons believe in Christ, we dont believe exactly as they do. Excluding us in this way by inventing a special definition for the word Christian is like defining a duck as an aquatic bird with a broad, flat bill, webbed feet, and white feathers, and then concluding that mallards arent ducks because their feathers are the wrong color.
If the term Christian is used, as it is in standard English, to mean someone who accepts Jesus Christ as the divine Son of God and the Savior of the world, then the charge that we arent Christians is false. However, if the word Christian is given an overly narrow definition, then it is merely a way of saying LDS Christians differ in some degree from other Christians. No one owns the term Christian or has the right to deny it to others who worship Jesus as the divine Son of God.
But a Christian college with a Mormon commencement speaker? I don’t think so.
>But Mormons are NOT christians. Anyone who believes that Jesus is a spirit brother of Satan (yes they do believe this) and that Mormons will all be gods like Christ is (yes, they believe this too) is not christian<
Plus the Bible is not to be taken from or added to, thus the book of Mormon is not Christian. Only Satan lures with the promise of becoming gods and being worshipped as Christ is worshipped. The Mormon God is not the Christian God.
Of course they are, you don’t have a true concept of the true nature of Christ that’s all.
