Sunday, May 6, 2007 10:11 p.m. EDT Hillary Stumps Ohio

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton on Saturday urged graduates of a small, historically black college to remain optimistic about their ability to fight injustice and change society for the better.

"That's what elections are for," she said. "Don't let anyone wear you down to the point where you believe it is not worth trying to change your society any longer." A crowd of about 4,000 listened to the Democratic presidential candidate deliver the commencement address for about 225 graduates of Wilberforce University, a school of about 1,050 students about 15 miles east of Dayton that traces its roots back to 1856.

Clinton, a New York Democrat, told the crowd that if they turn a blind eye to injustices levied against women, minorities and the weak or vulnerable "we let it linger in the atmosphere."

"Journeys that led to the abolition of slavery still call us to finish the march to justice," she said.

The crowd gave a warm reception to Clinton, and broke into applause several times during her 25 minute speech, which largely avoided the hot-button campaign issues like the war in Iraq.

Clinton chose the ceremony at Wilberforce for her first foray into bellwether Ohio in the year before the election. The site was the Nutter Center at Wright State University in suburban Dayton. The venue has a capacity for 12,000 people.

Clinton said there was still work to do as long as children die because families can't afford medical care, pay increases for CEOs outpace that of hardworking families and wounded soldiers come home to "facilities not fit for them to stay in."

"We need to be willing to say this is wrong," Clinton said. "Let us make it right."

Later Saturday, Clinton was set to appear with Cleveland leaders, including Democratic U.S. Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones, at a high school. Clinton also is scheduled to return to Ohio in just a few days as the keynote speaker for the annual Ohio Democratic Party dinner in Columbus on May 12.

Just two Democrats have won the presidency without Ohio since 1900 and no Republican has done so.

Hillary Clinton transportation - BROOMSTICK ONE

Item number: xxxxxxxxx *****************************************************

Description

HILLARY CLINTON TRANSPORTATION: BROOMSTICK ONE

You may not believe this. I don't know if I would believe it. On April 27, Hillary did a fundraiser in San Diego. At about 1:00 a.m., I heard a huge noise and a crash of some kind. I also heard a high-pitched and horribly scary voice screaming at some people to get the bleep away from her. She called one of them an FJB. I know I've heard that voice before on the news. It was a voice that can send shivers down your spine.

My dogs, George and Kramer, went running out through the doggy door. They started yelping, came running back into the house, and lay down by my bed shivering. It was almost as if they were afraid and had seen something truly horrible. Something perhaps like Big Foot or an alien (from another planet, not an illegal alien - we see millions of those in S. California).

The next morning, I went out to the backyard and there was the broom. George and Kramer would not get close to it. It had a certain stench to it, kind of like a stench you might expect from a black pantsuit that had not been laundered in awhile.

Now look, I have no idea that this is really Hillary's BROOMSTICK ONE.  I can make no guarantees because I didn't see it fall, and I didn't see her in the vicinity. But it is quite a coincidence that she was in Southern California convincing suckers to empty their wallets for her a few hours before this thing came down in my back yard. I am about two hours north of San Diego.

I was able to get back to sleep fairly quickly and had a dream inspired by the commotion.  I dreamed that I heard someone screeching "I'm melting, I'm melting."  Oh, if only it were so.

When the witch visited the troops in Iraq during Thanksgiving in 2003, it was common knowledge that those heroes risking their lives fighting the Islamofascists nicknamed the Sikorsky Blackhawk that shuttled her around -- "BROOMSTICK ONE." They really did.

Here is your opportunity to own a piece of political memorabilia, a keepsake that will be coveted by your friends and co-workers. Wouldn't it be fun to take it to work or show it off at a party? If Hillary happened to be at a fundraiser near you, perhaps you could get her to autograph it. If it really had been used by her, maybe she would want to buy it back from you at a nice profit. If that would happen, here is my advice. Take her offer. You don't want to make that wretched, evil creature angry at you. Something might happen.  In her words, you know what I'm talkin' about.

By the way, for those who don't know, Hillary and Bill and a bunch of their corrupt pals will be under oath this year in the historic civil lawsuit in Los Angeles -- Paul v Clinton.  You will learn about four false FEC reports, the hiding of $721,000 (as determined by the FEC), Hillary's false declaration to the court, a video that is a smoking gun to show her committing a felony, the greatest campaign finance fraud in history, and the Clinton's role in the collapse of Stan Lee Media.

If no one buys the broom, that's fine.  I will take it to the courtroom in Los Angeles.  Maybe I can get Hillary to sign it for me.

Right out of the tired, worn out liberal Dem playbook. Don’t let it fool ya — the Marxist witch could care less about women, minorities and the weak — God, where is my barf bucket.

Considering that she thinks we're all idiots, and that black Americans need help to compete in the workplace, what must be her real estimate of their abilities? And they were applauding her, giving her every reason to think she's right about them.

She is counting on millions of people being fooled. So far, they have been.

I hear on the radio that only a few hundred showed up for this “affair.”

Hillary can’t draw more than 1/3 capacity in Dayton?

Dayton has plenty of FDR Democrats. You know the kind of folks who watch auto plants, Air Force research jobs, and NCR facilities falter while cashing their retirement checks with absolutely no sense of irony. As long as the Dems keep those “tax cuts for the rich” in check they will go and vote like it’s 1933 all over again.

Meanwhile, Dayton proceeds apace as a ‘donut city’ with all investment and safe livable areas well outside the urban core (except, of course, the Pravda of the Midwest, the Dayton Daily News and their shiny new building).

Did someone forget to rent the right size mob for this turnout? Or was Hillary’s speaking fee too high for the hoi polloi?

The title of this article should be: “Hillary again, carefully picks her prop audience.”

"told the crowd that if they turn a blind eye to injustices levied against women"

Oh....you mean like rape, oral sex with a subordinate, groping a widow, witness intimidation, and such; you mean THAT kind of "injustice" against women, you doormat/powermonger?

I saw part of her speech on the local news. Even ignoring her marxist ideas, that woman has a shrill speaking voice and horrible presentation. Are the Dems able to excuse her awful speaking ability because they like her ideas, or do they just not notice that she sounds like everyone's nightmare vision of a "first wife"?

One of the stupid questions asked in the GOP debate was “What do you dislike most about America?” In the next Democrat debate the candidates should be asked “What do you like about America?” Since I never hear any of them ever say a positive word concerning our country they might be at a loss to answer it.

Does anybody know Hillary’s popularity rating? It would be nice if it was below Bush’s. And it may be since the MSM isn’t reporting it.

What was the magnitude of the shaking? With those thighs and ankles she could do some serious stomping and damage. Oh No, the headline said stumping. 8^)
