“A woman cries as riot police look on after the election of Nicolas Sarkozy”
How can they tell it’s a woman crying. I couldn’t see any clues.

"That woman has set back the idea of a LIBERAL female French leader for at least a decade."So this is a bad thing?

Today there is a great wailing and gnashing of teeth among the DUmmies over the election results

We will have to wait and see how this will go. In Europe, Kucinich, Obama, and Hillary would be considered neo-cons.
To: Bogtrotter52
I bet the DUmmies are upset that they can’t be over there rioting with the French.

Lets see, the candidate that won by popular vote is under protest by socialist because their candidate lost due to lack of votes?
I’m confused, I always thought the winner is the winner because France is a Democracy and the winner won by a majority of votes.
Sounds like the Democrats here, their candidate losses an election because of a lack of votes, but they cry and say it is fraud.

"(If the GOP were to stop worshiping Free Trade as if it were a religion, they'd win every election)"Oh, so this thread has NOTHING TO DO WITH FRANCE. Thanks for the warning. The event is significant, bur there's no sense attempting to discuss it on a thread hijacked by the original poster.

Typical socialist liberal reaction. Dont like the vote, riot. Dont like the law, ignore it. Dont like the speech, ban it. Exactly.

I suspect that was a situation much like the Balkans, when it gets right down to it. No “good guys” in sight, on either/any side.
