If God had anything to do with that monster, he'd have most assuredly dropped it into someplace like downtown San Francisco, not a small town in the middle of Kansas.

That’s nice. The people of Kansas have suffered a terrifying and tragic tornado, and you are indicating that they somehow deserved this terrible event? I don’t know what religion you are, but I feel sorry for you. Whenever anything goes wrong in your life, you must deserve it.

When things go wrong in my life, God provides me strength and comfort. I like it much better that way.

As far as tornados go, THIS was the backhand of God.

Lasted over 3 hours. Traveled 219 miles.

695 dead. 15,000 homes destroyed. Adjusted for wealth and inflation, $1.4 billon in damage.

Tri-State Tornado.

The elementary school I went to in Murphysboro was two stories. Before the 1925 tornado it was three.
