VIN SUPRYNOWICZ: Are you PC? If so, stop reading here
Las Vegas Review-Journal ^ | 06 may 07 | VIN SUPRYNOWICZ

Posted on 05/06/2007 6:05:25 AM PDT by rellimpank

I've been thinking about Don Imus. The irreverent New York radio talker was fired last month for saying, in the course of some casual on-air banter, that Rutgers University's winning women's basketball team included some "nappy-headed hos."

Did this overgrown teenager really believe those women athletes were whores? Of course not.

Imus, now past 65, was trying to stay hip by imitating the jive talk that our black "entertainers" toss about with abandon, the same way David Letterman graces his monologues with phrases like, "Let me ax you a question" -- though Letterman is suave enough to get away with it.

Thus, Imus was fired not for what he said, but for saying it while white.

If that's too politically incorrect for you, best stop reading now, because this week and next I hope to weigh in with a warning about the dangers of political correctness, and in order to discuss them I'm going to have to violate some of the strictures of this pathetic brand of self-censorship.

"Politically Correct" is the politically correct phrase for "F$^#ing Retarded".

Jesse and Al continue to get a lot of mileage out of "Driving While Black," but not so much out of "Saying While White."

I don’t think Vin has to depend on anyone here for ideas or insights. When you see him writing “rules, rules” then you will know he is a lurker.

Washington has no will whatsoever to fix this huge problem, even though its a problem within the Beltway.

Political correctness is simply a neo-Marxist movement designed to destroy our country and all our freedoms and put in their place tyrannical overlords.

Possibly.

But he's been saying things like this years before there was a "Free Republic".

What we need is a black dictionary.

Many times whites cannot understand what blacks are trying to say becuase they dont understand the language.
The scene in Airplane where Beaver’s Mom speaks jive is a good example.

For Instance Nappy headed Ho. To Whites it means what it says ,A whore with a kinky head .To blacks it just means the woman they are dating at the time. She could even be white with a tight perm.

Jesse and Al continue to get a lot of mileage out of "Driving While Black," but not so much out of "Saying While White."

These two make their living not by solving racial issues, but by stirring the pot and keeping situations hot (e.g., look at their stance on the Duke lacrosse players and Tawana Brawley).

Further, why does the MSM refer to these two as "Rev."? Al Sharpton was "ordained" at age 10 (either by some similarly-ordained minister in DC or a cereal box top) and never went to college, let alone divinity school. Jesse did go to college, but dropped out of Chicago Theological Seminary after the first year. Neither has ever had a church and both believe that minority problems (e.g., black-on-black murder) is because of what Whitey has done and the only way to solve the problem is to throw federal money their way. Contrast their approach to the words of Bill Cosby.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. Unless you're him you don't really know and are free to "think" anything you want.
I think it sounds a lot like what FReepers, as well as other reporters/journalists, have been saying for the last few days. Maybe he should've gone to print quicker?

Bottom line in all of this— For years the black culture, ‘music’, etc has been telling the world that women are just what Imus said. It’s reinforced every day on the radio and on the street. Many blacks seem perversely proud of the appelation.
So now the rest of society has gotten the message and is starting to say they are what THEY say they are.
Image firmly fixed thanks to black ‘rappers’ and every black person who uses the same language to describe themselves or each other.
How is Imus shocking? ( Except that he is old enough to have known that PC would cost him his job.)
If, every day ,I say ‘ I’m a worthless pig’ to everyone how can I be offended when someone agrees with me?

In ABSTRACT terms, this is the conspiratorial view of what’s going on vis-à-vis the INVASION of the illegals here:

The current alien invasion from the south serves BOTH the elites who run Mexico – and many of the OTHER states of Central and South America — and the political ruling class who increasingly run the United States:

· It takes pressure off the 60 or so families who control approximately 80% of the wealth in Mexico. Without the northern “safety valve” (the United States) for their poor, those poor MIGHT be inclined to do what America’s early colonists found it necessary to do: Revolt! Parenthetically, that would be MY suggestion for them: Instead of fleeing here – and converting “here” to a larger, more poverty infested version of “there,” they ought to stay there and make “there” into their version of “here,” whatever that would be. Revolutions ARE messy and there are no guarantees that they will produce the desired result. But – according to one T. Jefferson – they are often necessary. Never forget that THIS country was born in revolution!

· For the NAFTA/CAFTA coveting US national ruling class – especially those who, in varying degrees, quest after some sort of One-World utopia run by guess who? – it provides yet another level of insecurity and tension among the indigenous populace which can be used to justify new and more draconian limits to freedom here. Instead of securing the borders, allow millions of illegals to come in and when the natives become alarmed, require a national ID card. “Your papers, please!” will soon become a phrase familiar to all. It’s Mr. Franklin’s trade of freedom for (false) security. It’s also the time-tested Hegelian Dialectic the One-Worlders have successfully worked like a rented mule.

While they occasionally squabble among themselves, the elites of history have ALL had one thing in common: They will do ANYTHING to remain in charge. And throughout that history, except for the 230 year-old experiment in freedom called “America,” most of the men who have walked the earth have lived as slaves to these elites whether they call themselves kings, emperors, potentates, sultans, czars – or presidents.

Get ready, folks. Unless some SERIOUS changes are made and the handful of Americans who CARE about liberty get involved, that history will almost certainly repeat here.

Now for the SPECIFICS of the matter:

My take on Bush’s role in all of this is:
1. His long and apparently positive experience with the large hispanic population in Texas is largely responsible for his inaction on this alien invasion. And why wouldn’t HIS experience with them be positive as he traveled in the highest, best-educated circles among them, not the Hispanic gangbangers and pine-straw spreaders...
2. His brother Jeb is married to a native of Mexico and his nieces and nephews are mixed blood. And before you scream “ethnocentric bigot” at me, there’s nothing inherently wrong with that. But that fact — and the first item — DOES predispose him to a warm and fuzzy feeling for folks from south of the Rio Grande.
And if — in some strange and metastasizing American desire for a new royal family dynasty — Jeb should win the White House, I’d bet that HIS activities toward this alien invasion will make W’s behavior look like a warm-up exercise.

Any vestige of white European culture will be a distant memory.

Yeah, I was aware of him and his writings before I came to FR too and I follow "the weekly Vin" articles without having to be pinged to them.
And "things like this" isn't this. It must just be an eerie similarity to what I've seen lately.

Europe as we have known it in the past will not survive into the mid-21st century. It will be a sad part of PC history.

Political Correctness:

”A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a TURD by the clean end.”

Hopefully more folks are starting to realize 'political correctness' is actually nothing more than emotional terrorism, a mechanism some people use so they don't have to bother trying to come up with a rational argument.

Good morning, BTW!

I have no doubt that Neal Boortz, Rush, and most other radio show hosts stop by every day to see what's going on...

BTW... I'm NOT Mark Levin.
