What a pleasant surprise, the first thread I see is this one.
I think it’s going to be a great day

Good morning, Alas.
I wonder if the country will tire of this way too long presidential campaign. Perhaps many are not paying any attention.

I’ll be interested to see how thoroughly Tim grills Tenet on his inconcistencies. Why do I get the feeling it’s going to be a Cheney bash-fest?

Thanks AB and Good Morning to EveryOne! (Thanks also to Rod for those kind words.)
CIA Senior Operative Calls Tenet A Liar, but for MSM - he is a "hero". Another liar was their hero too, who has paid fines for his lies & got impeached.

Sigh...
I was hoping Fred Thompson would be on.
As a followup to his great speech Friday night.

Don’t you think it would be wise for republicans to avoid these stupid sunday shows & rather appear on Rush, Hannity, Hewitt & Ingraham likes?

Thank you everyone for watching these shows and reporting...I can read your reports and my blood pressure stays below the stroke level.
I was hoping Fred would be on one of the Sunday shows too.
(I love your tag line.....)

Is it possible for you to post a link to the ratings for these Sunday shows? They are just used as propaganda tools by the left, because certain comments become talking points both in Congress and in the DBM. Other comments - favorable to Republicans, conservatives or the Administration just get dropped down the memory hole.

Excellent link anita!! Looks like Tenet did indeed throw us all a huge "Curve" ball. once again it's sad that GW kept so many Clintonistas on board.
He did so I am sure in a Christian manner of taking a person at his word until proven otherwise. But in the winner take all game of big league politics truth can be elusive at best.

Actually it might make more sense to do both.
Appear on the Sunday shows to discredit the msm/dbm with the truth and appear with Rush et all to increase support in their base.

Fred needs conservatives, moderates, independents and right-progressives to win the Presidency.
If Fred is on Rush or Laura, he’s singing to the choir. He speaks to a more demographically rich audience when he’s on the Sunday talk shows.

In a reply up above I mentioned Fred's speech Friday night. For those of you who have not read it, and you should, here's a

Sunday show ratings are released by networks themselves via press releases. NBC & CBS does this regularly. Even on their releases, while they claim lead over the other, truth is that over-all they LOST 25 to 30% of their viewers as time goes by.
This is just as true like while Fox is top on ratings over other cablers, it also sufferred ratings hit. Remember during 2002, whenever President makes a prime-time or SOTU speech FNC came very near to catch broadcast networks. EveryOne was predicting FNC was about to beat broadcast networks. Unfortunately, FNC started to hire liberals from other networks and sometimes more hostile to Bush & Republicans.
