Good heaves - if the Republicans can’t face down the silly media, how can
they be expected to face down our enemies.
If anyone candidate can’t handle the media - they have zero
business being in the White House.
I liked this one in 'Exchange of the day' - "The question is, who ought to make that decision? The Congress or the commanders? And as you know, my position is clear I'm the commander guy."
The DBM needs to remember that W IS the CinC, not Congress.
Sorry to be blunt but Timmy's become a disgraceful anti-American slut
(shades of Akroid)This one is so good tears are coming in and choking off the laughter.
Morning AB and everyone. I can only be on for awhile this morning but I’m looking forward to the great comments we always seem to have. Congrats to last weeks winners too, although I have not seen the list yet.
That ‘s what I think too. Majority of Americans agree with Conservative view point on issues related to life, taxes, terror etc. Even many with that view sayed away from politics & elections. Bush team reached out thro’ many avenues and increased 10 million votes than in 2004 than in 2000. They are capable of raising that reach even more, but settled enough to carry the race. Our new candidate should be capable of doing that to win.
Dodd simply is going back to the SAME 2004 poll on Iraq ALL the Democrats always site. After getting one poll to validate their own emotion based feelings about Iraq, they simply have ignored every single poll since that shows them dead wrong about what the average Iraqi thinks.
Google “Public Opinion Polls in Iraq” and you can find ALL sorts of data, NONE of which validates Dodd’s nonsense talking points.
One thing Timmy was not trying to do this morning was convince the American people that there is no threat to us. He let Tenet lay that out in spades about how there are networks of people that seek to do the US harm and in a spectacular way, commensurate with our standing as a super power.
My pleasure.
I’m confused about why Timmy would let through that bit about how real and dangerous the threat that we face actually is. Not part of the meme I would have anticipated.
Interesting how the SAME change in prices that was the lead story and "worst economy crises ever" in the Junk Media last year at this time is now pretty much a non story because the D's run the Congress.
Amen, brother!
Great point and something we all need to remember.
Is Tenet bashing Bush?
The spinning has addled his brain?
Tenet's "answers" are so convoluted, it's hard to tell what he's doing frankly. At best, with Timmy's help, he does so indirectly. Same for the VP and Condi. The clear implication of the whole episode is that they knew that they were not telling the truth and the whole point was to get us into war in Iraq for whatever reason...just because they are bad people, I guess.
Good morning everyone!
The surge is a brilliant plan that will slowly but surely unite Iraq, and the US and move the terrorists out of Iraq as we slowly but surely take away any safe areas they formerly had and the locals trust us enough to report where they are.
It's a brilliant idea/strategy for prosecuting an asymmetric war.
It's also something you will never hear mentioned in the MSM/DBM. We have to report it here.
Hey Rush, calling Limbaugh!! Reporting the victories of the surge will become and have become the job of the New Media
Topics for reliable sources today include the following:
1. The Madam and ABC and Brian Ross
2. Murdoch’s move on WSJ
3. Chris Matthews as moderator
4. IMUS in the courtroom
Sounds much more interesting than fat dim; even though I’m not a CNN fan, I can’t bring myself to watch the fat russert on nbc.
