LOL----so true. His weirdness is legendary and was never more apparent than at the debate.

Oh, my sides! I just went back to review that Perp Walk again because I knew something slipped past me.

The camera showed the candidates approaching from a distance of at least a hundred yards. Romney was walking alongside Hunter, the two of them clearly talking serously, with little Rudi plodding on the right like some little pest trying to interject his own comments and being ignored by the two serious men. You could see this very clearly on the tape.

Keith Obertroll was giving the voice-over commentary with Andrea Mitchell and Howard Fineman sitting in but clearly within range of the mike.

So here's the transcript (Tivo'd):

Obertroll: (conversationally)	"...Mr. Giuliani now having moved more or less to the front of the pack and returning the wave of Howard Fineman..."
Fineman: (off-camera but heard clearly)	"...waving idiotically..."
Obertroll (clearly annoyed)	"...we appreciate that, Howard. Andrea, to the point that we just saw there...

Just damn! Rudi really did look like a total hick.

Obertroll clearly had his hands full trying to keep control with Andrea (who had just suggested that the Republican candidates were "coming for him") and Fineman taking cheap shots at Giuliani.

No doubt, this was the highlight of the pre-game show. The Obertroll was getting a little frustrated. Mitchell was clearly needling him for his reputation for being such a mechant-of-hate on his regular show toward Republicans. Of course, she's right about that.

Heheh———thanks for that swell recap of the debate start.

However, I do believe the debate finish was more memorable.

Jooti Giuliani stomped onto the stage, took Rooti by the hand, and led him off like a whiney child who had to go real bad and wanted Mom to lead the way to the bathroom.

(Or maybe it was more like Jooti finding Rooti in a local bar-room chatting up a peroxide blonde, and was marching him home to give him what-for.)
