I am exactly right on the same thoughts as you on this.
One can actually “predict” the future based on their knowledge and experience
of knowing what “happens” to “A” when you tinker with “B”.
Do weather forcasters “predict the future”?

I further think that we all, to one degree or another gather information subconsciously which our minds process and incorporate into our thought process even though we're not cognizant of it...we get the conclusion without recognizing the process by which we arrived at it so it seems 'paranormal,' or at the least, uncanny.

Having said that, I do generally subscribe to a 'multiverse' view of reality, and do reckon that there are occasional folds and wrinkles in time-space, whic may account for some claims, but I think for the most part, we're aware of far more than we give ourselves credit for.
