Is this REALLY proof that man can see into the future?

Interesting that millions-to-1 odds scientifically permit people to believe in peoples’ abilities to see the future, yet mathematicians calculate the improbability of one protein coming about via random events at 10 to the 40,000th power and that is not enough to convince people that life/creation is not a random accident.

I’ve had a few dreams, mostly of minor importance that come true. Just the other day I was grabbing my kid’s jacket and the little plastic dohicky at the end of the elastic got caught on the car seat as I was pulling it out. It stayed caught until it freed itself and then came flying out and gave me a good rap on my thumb’s fingernail and it HURT!

I instantly recalled the dream the night before where I was sitting at a stop sign watching some workers and one guy banged his thumb with a hammer and started cussing and waving his hand around!? Of course I wouldn’t have remembered this dream if I hadn’t wacked my thumb. So - was the dream a premonition (I’m not in construction, etc.), or - I think we have like hundreds of dreams each night - each lasting only a few seconds - and perhaps when one of them matches something that happens during the day we recall the dream?

There is another interesting “time” question. They say average dreams only last a few seconds, but why do they seem so long when we recall them when we wake up?

"The tin foilers may be partially right."

I consider myself a partial tinfoiler...not so much because I believe in a lot of X-Files phenomenon, but moreso because I don't disbelieve them.

All of these stories suggest that we can pick up premonitions of events that are yet to be.

They suggest nothing of the sort.

What they do suggest is that people are great at injecting themselves into an Important Situation.

My late wife told me when we were dating that she was not going to live to 50. We were 19 at the time and her family had a history of long-life on both sides with many living into their 80-90’s. I told her she was mistaken and would be dancing on my grave someday. She died at age 46.

72 for me, or so I dreamed. 32 more years, in other words.

It's a week later and I only NOW found your reply to my post! *gulp* I'm trying to expand my mind to comprehend it ... but that is how that earthquake felt. I also discovered in the Northridge quake that in times of high stress, your eyes will dilate so widely that you will literally see in the dark. That's what happened to me and my husband. We later stopped to wonder, "Hmmm, when did the electricity go out, because I remember the lights were on right afterward because I was looking at spilled things in the middle of the floor ..." Not recalling that it was dark outside, the wee hours, so the lights wouldn't have been on in the first place! There were no lights. I guess the crisis of the moment had triggered our eyes to go into ultra-survival mode and dilate so much that we were seeing like cats. Very interesting, very unexpected.

On I expect a related note (no pun intended), because I know how sound waves travel through water as opposed to air, and because I remember that we are physycally mostly liquid, and because I know that music is infinitely mathematical in its essence (as well as spiritual, which is what makes music literally divine), I think that music has a profound affect on the physical being.

But that's a whole 'nother talk show.

Perhaps you have never experienced this phenomenon.

In any event, if life exists before birth and after death, as I believe, this kind of communication would make sense.

Again, half of your physical body is WAVES, matter waves; and half particles(fermions = electrons, neutrons, protons). Time is Kinetic Energy is mass is Wave(length) < Particle(velocity)=acceleration; or Wave(length) > Particle(velocity)=deceleration. It is called the wave/particle duality of the principle of complementarity; or the “collapse of the wavefunction” as some physicists call it. I prefer over running matter wave energy in newtons of wave FORCE.

You ONLY feel/sense/detect W>P or deceleration/weight in your sense of touch = over running wave energy. Sight : photon-particle stops at your retina but the over running EM wave energy kicks an electron out of orbit, up the optic nerve to your brain where you actually SEE. Hearing : over running compression wave on elastic eardrum, thru the bones and cochlear nerve, to the brain where you actually HEAR.

So, it is by over running WAVE ENERGY whereby you feel, see, hear, smell...experience the world around you. As to dilating eyes, that may be rods as hyperactive instead of UV, but you get beyond me there.

As to music, google SOUND HEALTH. COM. If you get puget sound, keep trying. Sherry Edwards has mapped out all the frequencies of every body molecule. Just by the sound of your voice over the phone, she knows what’s wrong w/you(by plugging it into her computer)and sends soothing sounds back to massage just the right molecules. You see, music is molecular massage for your body, that’s why it feels so good : musical massage parlor.

In talking to her years ago at a science conference she said : Oh, your F# is weak = pancreas. Puts the headphones on me, twiddles the dials and KA-WHAM, I felt WONDERFUL instantly. She was born w/perfect pitch. Look her up.

Anyway, a couple more hours of spring yardwork to go today. I’ll send you a private post later on as to how time works, wear your physics hat...
