Your statement seems fairly straightforward. If you didn't want to be misunderstood, perhaps you should have provided the context you required to make your position tenable.

You can weasel around all you like with the "rightly or wrongly" spinning, but holding forth there's any possible light wherein the Battle Flag of the CSA can be equated to the hammer and sickle of the soviet union is beyond ridiculous.
