Deathbed Confession of Howard Hunt Fingers LBJ in JFK Murder

Ever since that late morning is Dealey Plaza Dallas Texas, November 22nd 1963, the soul of America has been tortured by lingering doubts about the official version of the murder of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The Chief Justice Earl Warren was appointed by Lyndon Baines Johnson to head the official investigation, the Warren Commission. After reviewing all the evidence, the Commission's final report named Lee Harvey Oswald as the lone gunman responsible.

In 1966, the book, Six Seconds in Dallas, raised important questions pointing to evidence which indicated that there was more than one shooter. More than one shooter would indicate a conspiracy, so the next question would be "Who else was involved"...

Case Closed ignores some significant facts, although after I first read it I was convinced by its premise as well. When you don’t have a comparison it’s difficult to make a judgement about something’s veracity. However, I recommend you get a copy of “Triangle of Death.” Short, concise, well documented with the actual documents it refers to reproduced inside the book, (plus, it does specify where it differs from Posner’s book and why). Even if you don’t agree with it, you will find it a fascinating read. Unfortunately, the powers that be will NEVER let any of us know the real truth of the assassination, at least not in our lifetime. We’ll all be dead by then. I always though LBJ was involved in it in some way, though. I saw that interview w/his mistress years ago. It was pretty interesting.

Simply use a highpowered rifle and shoot aninanimate oblect liek a watermelon or a simple 5 gallon jug filled with water.

I've seen that done on TV in an investigation of the Kennedy assassintation. However, it appears even simpler than that. The frame by frame analysis of the Zapruder film shows that Kennedy's head clearly went rapidly forward and down for one frame after he was shot. It then went back slower over the next two frames. The reason his head ended up back was because his chin bounced off his chest. You can see the same effect in head-on auto accidents where the driver's head ends up breaking the headrest behind him.

Anyone who sees the Zapruder film and concludes that JFK was shot from the front simply wants to ignore the physics and believe some conspiracy theory.

I have no idea why all these years later I would even remember this but, it must have left a lasting impression on me.

First impressions are lasting. On the day of the event, even before the official announcement that JFK had died, the television networks were showing the events of the day leading up to it. Highly noticeable was the look on LBJ's face as the Presidential party deplaned that morning: it was grim. Add to that the fact that LBJ wasn't happy with second place on the ticket, that they were in Texas to mend internal party fences, and that this was LBJ's home territory, where he had considerable cadres who had already broken many laws on his behalf, and you have the lasting impression that he set the whole thing up. You don't have proof, but you can't escape the impression.

St. John Hunt was on the Glenn Beck program yesterday, and Glenn played some excerpts of tapes St. John purports to be E. Howard giving a deathbed confession of the Kennedy assination

its my understanding E. Howard and LBJ did not git along at the end so I would not put it past E. Howard laying on death bed thinking here is my chance at one last lick at LBJ

Around 1968, there was a play about it. It was a Macbeth parody, with Johnson as Macbeth, and JFK as the King. I heard about it in the 80s, and got a copy from the library. The notion that Johnson did it was shared by a lot of people from the beginning, apparently.

My parents were in high school and said that the country was pretty sad and upset. It seems some here are not either telling the truth or didn’t comprehend. I would think that if President Bush got killed by a wacko the entire country would be in mourning or does nobody believe this. It shocks me that people were glad that JFK was killed.

Little Beagle Johnson? You know the one who liked having his ears pulled by the president.

Amen! Also, I would like to know what kind of weapon was supposedly used from the "grassy knoll" that emitted a puff of smoke as the conspiracy theorists claim. Must have been some old gunpowder powered muzzle loader since all propellants I know of today are virtually if not completely "smokeless".

Too much of Kennedy’s brain ends up on the trunk of the limo for you to convince me. Jackie crawls out of her seat, reaches back there to retrieve the chunks. It is ballistically impossible for that much mass to end up that far to the rear, given that the head and body are clearly moving forward at that point.

The mob killed Kennedy. No doubt in my mind. It was payback for Bay of Pigs fiasco and RFK going after them. The mob got him elected and then when they had the power, they turned their back on them. Kennedy was supposed to get rid of Castro so the mob could recoup the millions they had invested in Havanna.

I will set aside Hunt’s involvement in the JFK assassination. But there may be more than one way to take out a President. Hunt was involved in Nixon’s leaving office. The book Silent Coup offers up some interesting food for thought. I do believe Nixon was trapped by the CIA but I am not sure I buy the conjectures made by the authors. But the book does have facts, the most interesting of which detail Bob Woodward’s career before he became a reporter for the Post. Once a weasel always a weasel and that goes for his buddy Haig too.

A man like that doesn’t cook up a murder scheme.

When I lived in Austin many years ago, there were a great many people who said that LBJ had his first politial opponent shot in the tradition of old time Texas Politics.

There is a series of black and white photos that show LBJ being sworn in on Air Force One standing next to Jackie Kennedy. After the ceremony LBJ looks back and a member of the administration gives him a wink and a smirk. There are few sites that have the photos.
