Yep. I agree. I think several including Brownback did real well but overall I would have to say Romney came across as most Presidential, articulate and thoughtful. But nothing against most of them who I believe made the party look good tonight despite being forced to deliver Chrissy style.

I loved Romney’s answer about ‘’would he like another Clinton in the Whitehouse?’’ .....He answered I can’t think of anything worse than the gang of three running the war on terror! Reid, Pelosi, and Hillary! LOL!

>>>National ID cards for aliens only. I guess if you don’t have the card you’re assumed to be a citizen?<<<

I can’t speak for the other candidates, but Romney has a plan set forth where if you don’t have a valid social security number and matching identification, you’re required to submit your national ID to computerized national ID system before you could be hired. Employers found hiring people without valid IDs would be fined as if they were not paying their taxes.

Go see his website if you’re interested. He’s got a video on the issue under immigration.

At #940 you basically said, ending Roe v Wade and abortion on demand is not worth the effort. As a liberal RudyBooster, I understand why you feel that way.

We conservatives disagree with you.

Ron Paul may not be as “slick” as Romney, but his answers were dead on. He is the only GOP candidate in favor of limiting the size of government.

Is Paul a Libertarian or a Republican?

Well he's NOT a Republican.

If you like Huckabee he had a good night.

He didn't say anything profound at all.

...and I believe one day people will look at this stage of American history and compare our treatment of unborn babies to the time when blacks were considered property.

I doubt you and I will ever live long enough to see that. Sad, I know. :(

Ron Paul talks about a Constitution I remember as a girl; fewer Americans remember that time. It was freer than today, by a longshot.

I like Paul, but he does not seem sufficiently effectual. It is a shame, because America could use 8 years of someone like him! It would be like a full shot of Reagan.
