A Naval Academy instructor worked as an "independent contractor" for a Washington-area escort service whose owner is accused in federal charges of running a prostitution ring, the escort service's former owner's lawyer said last night.

You don’t suppose it’s just possible that the “Madam” and her employees, or most of them anyway, are telling the truth and it really was an escort service, rather than a prostitution ring? Stranger things have happened, and it would explain the paucity of ‘Rat clients, who would be more likely to patronize actual prostitutes. (high dollar ones of course)

Being a prostitute or hiring one means their lives are already ruined. Of course, liberaltarians will disagree. But in that case, if there’s no harm to hire out as a prostitute or use one, then there’s no big deal if it’s made public.

The public is not entitled to know every detail of everyone's private life just because they have sinned. The stocks and public humiliation went out of use by civilized societies a long time ago. And how do you know this young lady has not already repented her past?
