Only one that I know of. The murder of Terri Schiavo had a lot of unique aspects to it.

I don't know if that order was appealed or not. If so, I wonder how far up the line that it was given the okay?

Now that it’s a precedent, I wonder how long before another one is issued, and can’t be successfully appealed because it’s now established law. I also wonder how they can prosecute abusive parents who starve their children to death. It’s already been established that it’s perfectly legal.

The death order went to the 2nd DCA in Lakeland and at appeals courts, one judge at that level writes the opinion. The guy has a tough name to recall but it's a long name, starts with a B. He's a boy scout leader. Guess he likes boys but he sure hated Terri.

The Fla Supremes may have seen it but they were full of old codgers until Jeb put a young Hispanic jurist on the bench. I think Jeb's appointees voted against Terri subsequent to her 2003 save. Tallahassee voted to kill her. Jeb didn't over-ride them by using his executive authority the Supremes pre-Alito and Roberts DENIED HER THE RIGHT TO BE HEARD IN D.C. (Anna Nicole Smith got her day in court though). Atlanta's Appeals Court turned Terri down, a republican there as well. 2nd dca always affirmed Greer especially if it was about Terri. Whittemore in Fed Court in Tampa is a sadistic sob who let her starve and dry up while he run out the clock and held sadistic hearings where the Schindlers' witnesses were not allowed to testify and Whittemore said their attorney's memorandum of law wasn't good enough.

That had nothing to do with doing a de novo hearing. The first priority was to rehydrate Terri, not critique what's his name's memo of law! You know, the guy that looks kinda like Clark Kent. I just can't think of his name tonight.
