So if your wife works outside of the home, she’s depriving the family of $138,095 worth of service every year?

Yeah, but the government hates them because they aren't paid in taxable wages.

My ex wife didn’t do anything either. She in fact cost a lot of money and didn’t add anything to the household. Not all stay ay home Mom’s are created equal.

How selfish are career wives depriving their family of over 138,000 a year in services.

If the typical stay-at-home mother in the United States were paid for her work as housekeeper, cook and psychologist among other roles, she would earn $138,095 a year,Add sex to the equation and I'm worth $532,873.42 a year.
YMMV ;^)
To: Sub-Driver
This has been discredited several times over the years in various ways.
It might be interesting, if not already done, to do the same thing with men’s duties as chauffer, handyman, trash hauler, gardener, etc.
To: Sub-Driver
So a man who only earns 80 90 grand a year is pretty much a dead beat?

How much would it cost to hire someone who was a breadwinner, handyman, plumber, furniture mover, auto mechanic, landscaper, gardener, electrician, role model, financial planner, bodyguard ... ?
