Do you ever watch the Roloff’s on TLC? One twin is a normal boy, while the other is a dwarf.

When I was expecting my twins and was bedbound for 3 mos, I had to stop reading - this was one of the many problems that all the books talked about with multiple births - it made me feel like the odds were definitely very much against having two healthy babies. Thankfully, my little “chickens” did pretty well. Prayers for these little guys..

What a greedy little placenta hog that Byron is.
Wait for your moment, Lincoln.

During my wife’s pregnancy with our twin daughters there was concern due to one of the placenta’s overlapping the other. This could have led to a detached placenta, malnourishment for one of the girls, or perhaps even a complete miscarriage. The doctors told us we could have had a situation like this one where one of our children might thrive at the expense of the other. Those could be my children in that picture had our fortunes been different.
So excuse me, but there’s nothing funny here. My heart goes out to this family and these children. Until any of you smart-asses has walked a mile in the shoes of these parents or children, just keep your juvenile jokes to yourself.

Oh my goodness, this is amazing.
And these were identical children, so they would have shared the same placenta wouldn’t they?
Guess we know who got all the snacks, don’t we?
Prayers for both children to continue to thrive.
