St. Lucia Denounced by China for Diplomatic Ties With Taiwan (Restores ties with ROC)

CASTRIES, St. Lucia — This tiny Caribbean island may have thought it was no big deal when it severed its 10-year relations with China and restored ties on Tuesday with rival Taiwan. Wrong.

China, which built a stadium and was finishing a psychiatric hospital here and considers Taiwan a renegade province, called the move a "brutal interference in China's internal affairs." In short order, one of the world's smallest nations has made an enemy out of one of the largest.

Both Taiwan and China, which for more than 20 years have battled for diplomatic allies, brought out their big guns to curry favor with St. Lucia, a verdant, mountainous 240-square mile island home to 168,000 people.

China, a vast nation of 1.3 billion people, sent its foreign minister for a two-day visit in September. Taiwan sent Foreign Minister James Huang in late April. On Tuesday, he and St. Lucian Foreign Minister Rufus Bousquet signed an agreement establishing diplomatic relations between their two countries.

"We have been very careful about making this decision, and now that we have taken it, we do not expect the Chinese will love us any more for it," Bousquet said. "But we expect that they will conduct themselves in a manner that is acceptable to our government."

Another good reason for me to return to that beautiful island. Great diving, too.

St. Lucia asked for little more “consideration” than the ambassador was willing to pay, so they went to Taiwan. The Chinese amabassador will be recalled soon and should get ready for his new luxury posting: Zimbabwe.

Too bad for him. I wouldn’t mind being posted to St. Lucia. And anything that embarrases China is OK by me.

So, St. Lucia has diplomatic ties with Taiwan. With whom does O Sole Mio have diplomatic relations?

Those brutal St. Lucians... no doubt their next move will be to sail the mighty St. Lucian navy into the Taiwan Strait in a show of force, before invading poor, sovereign China.

Give me a damn break.

If you travel much at all amongst the small islands in the Caribbean you can’t help but run into examples of China’s largesse. Actually, it freaks me out a bit.

China is practically screaming “IMPERIALISM” yet AmeriKKKa is the true imperialists according to the American Communist Party.

(Since when in hell is the Spratly Islands anywhere near Chnese territotrial waters?)

If I didn’t know better, I’d say they have a recto-cranial inversion.

But I do. They are not stupid. They are evil.

Well, It is a rare and rather exotic condition I would never have believed possible except having recently seen it portrayed on an episode of “House”.

It seems that when those of the Asian Persuasion attempt to insert their Cranium into their Rectum for whatever purpose, their is the errant possibility that the Optical Nerve will intercept a random electric impulse emanating from the sphinctral nervosa resulting in a Cascading Ischemic effect which once initiated can only result inevitably in terminal
“Opto-Rectalitis” ie; A “Shitty Outlook On Life”

PPsss. NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH SHERYL CROWE SYNDROM WHICH CAN RESULT IN THE SAME SYMPTOM....
