Yeah, I did. I forgot about that. LOL!
(2) The Korean buildings reminded me a bit of Russia.
I wouldn't know about that (never been to Russia). However, they almost exclusively use concrete to build homes, apartments, etc with now. Their forests were decimated during Japanese rule and have barely recovered (not to different from Israel in a way.)
(3) I was impressed with the Korean school systems that were portrayed: they showed a genuine esteem for education (math in particular), and they showed the students cleaning the school after the day was over.
I'm most impressed with the fact that they aren't afraid to discipline the students. They don't let the students run amok and the parents don't let the students run amok either. The teachers actually care about their students (even if they are harsh by our standards).
(3) The drama is subtle, not forced like too many American shows...
Probably too subtle for some. Very Confucian (which can be confusing to some).
I could write more, but not for now...
C'mon, gotta see if we can put the thread over the 400 mark. LOL!
It's Bae Yong Joon. He played Joon Sang in Winter Sonata and psot #185 is from a scene in that same show.
I should use spell check EVERYTIME! *hide head in shame*
DON’T get me started on devil, (yes i said dee eee veee eye ell), he’s an a$$clown, he has no idea what he’s doing, he’s an embarassment AND he’s all for giving ILLEGALS whatever they want including licenses.....four years of this clown and he’s just getting started...as usual the citizens of MA have screwed up once again AND you can bet they will vote him in again......just like they constantly vote in gigilo and the swimmer.
Yep—I didn’t think Crouch and Whitlock got enough air time but I’m always wanting more of people that make sense. The cRap goofs were just justifying what they do because of the big dollars they make. Trying to blame their using vulgar language on slavery—it was pretty darn lame.
I’m so sick of that Simmons dude running roughshod over anybody that interviews him on tv.(not counting the fawning Oprah) They are scared of him, when in reality he ain’t no genius.
Amen, brother!
I missed the last hour of the show, but I'm going to visit KNEW right now and listen to the podcast.
He played the national anthem , and said :
” God Bless America, and to hell with the illegal alien , I’m sick of them, encourage them to go home. I have a dream...”
“GOD BLESS AMERICA”
Great stuff.
WOW! Non-stop Savage monologue for half an hour, speaking the issues that truly matter for the safety and integrity of our country! If only we had a CiC, or any politician for that matter, who spoke in the same manner as Savage. I have a dream, indeed!
Yes, that's what I thought! I'm a big fan of Korean dramas.
