We ask a special blessing on President Bush at this hour and thank You that he has maintained a strong and steady stance on the War on Terror. We thank You that he is standing up against the wiles of the left as they seek to undermine support of our troops. We ask that he would continue to display Your light in his life and that You would keep him faithful in prayer and study of Your word. We ask that he might constantly seek Your face, knowing that without You, he is nothing. We ask for Your protection and blessing on him and his entire family.
Father, we continue to pray for our troops in harm’s way, especially as they engage in battle with the enemy. We plead, dear Lord for a victory that is swift and sure, and thank You for the progress that has been made in recent months. Lord, be with our troops and help them to feel Your presence with them, and help them to know, in spite of the constant negative drumbeat of the left, that the American people support them. Keep them safe from harm, we pray, and grant them comfort and peace as they spend long months away from home. We pray at this time of year that they would also be protected from the heat and kept safe in the hollow of Your hand. Bless those who have been wounded in battle, and bring them back to health, and be especially with the families of those who have fallen, that they might have the peace that only You can provide during this time of deep grief and pain.
Finally, Father, we pray for this nation and continue to ask You to raise up that one leader who will also be a follower of Yours, and who will seek wisdom from You and seek to protect the lives of the unborn, and Your divine law. We ask that those who are seeking to destroy the moral fabric of this nation will be stopped, and that we may once more become a country that honors You. We love You, dear Lord, and we thank You for the privilege we have of bringing our requests to You in this place, at this time. We ask all these things in the strong and loving Name of Jesus, who is the Christ, Amen!
Please join us in prayer for our President, our troops, and our nation!

Amen, Lord, and please cause those who are illegally demanding citizenship rights for those here criminally to realize that they are sinning, for it is commanded,
“THOU SHALT NOT COVET,”

“Blessed is the Nation whose God is the LORD” and You would desire to bless every nation in fact.
Let not those who are here and wink at evildoers be blessed.

And have mercy on our own land, cleanse us from our sin and raise up for us a leader who is after Your own heart, as you raised up David for Israel.
