A small world (Kosovo)
The Washington Times) ^ | May 1, 2007 | MICHAEL PRAVICA

(Letter) I really enjoyed reading "Virtual reality", April 27, which exposed the confusion and misguided principles that many of our leaders exhibit toward "pacifying" Islamist extremism, especially exposing Rep. Tom Lantos' efforts to get the United States to illegally support Kosovo's independence to create a terrorist Muslim banana republic in the heart of Europe.

Because of the Clinton administration's anti-Serbian efforts aimed at supplying the Bosnian Muslims arms to fight the Bosnian Serbs, we already supported "a predominantly Muslim country in the very heart of Europe" that was never an independent nation: Bosnia. And what do we have to show for it? Osama bin Laden was granted a passport there. Jihadists were trained there ... Thousands of jihadists have immigrated to Bosnia and were implicated in the terrorist bombings in London and Madrid. Finally, Bosnia is an economic black hole that has squandered billions of dollars of aid (mostly for the Bosnian Muslims) with no accountability and no societal progress to show for it.

Lantos wants to create a second Muslim-dominated state that is rapidly becoming a Muslim "pure" state. Non-Muslims are persecuted daily, and hundreds of thousands of Christians have been ethnically cleansed by Albanian Muslims under the blind eye of NATO, which did nothing to prevent the barbaric "Kristallnacht" endured by Kosovo's Serbs. Americans have been slaughtered by Islamic "peacekeepers" and more than 150 Serbian Orthodox Churches and monasteries have been destroyed by Islamist fanatics...

Leaders such as Mr. Lantos need to be replaced as they are setting the stage for a far more violent future in which giving in to evil will lead to non-ending violence throughout the world. The world is not big enough for Islamist fanatics.

Lovely policy we're supporting there in Europe. But I like the phrase "Muslim Banana Republic." And you have to wonder how many more of those blood-thirsty fanatics have come here as refugees and asylees.

When I look back on the Clinton administration’s support for Islamic radicals at the expense of law abiding Serbs, I can only conclude that Clinton and Albright were fundamentally Anti-Christian.

Why is it that this administration seems committed to completing the Clinton Legacy of wiping the last of the Christian Serbs from Kosovo?

It’s as if our diplomats in the State Department are as much Euroabians as the Eurocrats in the European Commission that are currently merging the EU with the Arab League to form a super state. I don’t know, but I suspect boatloads of Saudi money are having a strong influence on events.
