Why am I getting the impression the military justice system at Camp Pendleton and the NCIS is in a self destruct mode?
Maybe because Jethro Gibbs isn’t running the team there.
JAGs won’t go public, but a good number are furious at the NCIS and are insisting that the civilian agency be reformed. It can’t come a moment too soon for the Marine Corps.
I would say the military justice system is working, even if it seems agonizingly slow. NCIS however is an entirly different story. If any investigation needs to be done, it’s of the methods and practices of that organization.
Given this news and the Haditha developments I would say it seems to be working pretty well. The PC charges are melting in the heat.
Think of the battleship 10 years ago that had an explosion in one of the gun turrets. They claimed that one of the sailors was GAY and may have done it to himself.
The NCIS is corrupt to the core, and to The Corps.

It’s becoming increasingly obvious that these maggots are nothing more than BATF agents in training. That entire organization needs to be stripped of personnel and those asshats reassigned to the grunt units currently in Iraq they are trying to railroad.
Preferably on permanent point duty.
