I'm not a Christian and I dislike Tony C.. But If you get a chance to hear a recording of his sermon: "Today's Friday, but Sunday is coming", do so. A great piece of oratory.

My favorite Tony Campolo sermon was when he said this in a church setting :

“I have three things I’d like to say today. First, while you were sleeping last night, 30,000 kids died of starvation or diseases related to malnutrition. Second, most of you don’t give a shit. What’s worse is that you’re more upset with the fact that I said shit than the fact that 30,000 kids died last night.”

That is an excellent sermon, but is doesn’t mean everything he says is Biblical; because much of what he says isn’t. He has gotten further and further off track over the years.
