There is no way they are going to over ride this veto....very few senators and congresscritters aren’t going on record to defund the troops....not going to happen...

Arrowhead, I just looked at your home page and found your excellent link to
Communist Goals--Congressional Record 1963Very eye-opening, and it's appalling to think how many of those goals have already been met. They are, of course, now an instrinsic part of the democrat party.

Thanks. I found that on another FR thread some time ago. That is an eye opening link and reads like the rat manifesto of today.

I just searched on “communist goals”, and found it appears to be posted 2-3 times per year. No harm in that—we all need to be reminded, and it’s a handy list to present to liberals so we can watch them flap around.

I emailed that to some liberal co workers and they sent back some not so nice replies.

ct_libertarian is sooo right! To Live (Huozhe) is an outstanding portrayal on film of survival in a truly nightmarish society.
The story is kinda like Ayn Rand’s worst nightmare of the looters running the US in “Atlas Shrugged.”

Here I was, having such a good time, relying on my aging wits and memory of a time in my life when politics was paramount and all of a sudden, you youngsters have to take it all away from me with computerized RESEARCH!!!
I feel just awful! Wasted!! Abused!!! Isn't this a form of elder abuse? Can't I call the government's "Adult Protective Services" and file a complaint???
Well, anyway, it looks like I was pretty much correct in my recollection, I reckon! Ha Ha Ha!!!

Darn it! You were right again?
Here I thought somebody finally caught ya slippin for a moment! LOL.
Isn’t computer research great, though? Keeps everybody honest!

As has been explained, this can not only be done, it has been done already. As long as the funds are replaced before they are needed there is no problem.
To: kabar
You seem to be somehow missing the obvious. The dems more then anything live and die by the polls. There is NO POLLING that shows the cutting of funding to the troops to be even close to being a majority view, In fact the polling overwhelmingly supports the continued and if necessary INCREASED funding necessary to carry this war to a favorable conclusion. This is from a PEW POLL and PEW is not a Republican favoring polling firm.
To: Nicole5
With enough votes they can override a veto"" You state the obvious. Are you saying they actually have the votes? If so name the Rep who will vote to over turn the veto.
