Even if we grant his premise that Hillary is the least leftist of the major Dem candidates, the fact is that her "experience" in the White House combined with her raw lust for power will allow her to hit the ground running in 2009 to perhaps ensure that the election of 2008 will have been the last truly free election this nation has had. Unlike Edwards and Obama, who have only eight years of D.C. experience between them, Mrs. Bill Clinton knows all the chains of command and how everything works. The first thing she'll do is get a fresh batch of FBI files. She won't have to spend time learning the ropes.

Actually, Edwards only has 6 years (1 full Senate term) and Obama has 2 years in his first Senate term. Hillary has 1 full Senate term plus the current year, and 8 years as First Lady.
