FREQUENT FLYER Word out of the House Democrat leadership is that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is not only having her staff make plans for a trip to Venezuela to meet there with dictator Hugo Chavez, she has also asked staff to apply for a visa to travel to Tehran.
"She is getting bad advice from people back home in San Francisco," says a leadership aide, who is working for one Pelosi's colleagues. "She is not getting it from members of her leadership team. That's all anyone here is willing to say."

Have wondered the same. . .guess it depends on the meaning of 'is'. . . and whether treason is now just another word made empty. . .by our Lib Establishment.

The thought occurred to me too. But then, she’s acting as if she already were president.
If that's the case, I don't care for her foreign policy at all. She is sleeping with the enemies of our country.

I can understand the President and the speaker being in different branches of government, so really, What is the Presidents authority in this manner legally?
If these trips are true, she's acting very seditious.

Boy, the Logan Act is CLEAR in its wording, even for us non-attorney “peasants”. If properly enforced, Nazi Pelosi goes to jail. Looks like the Magna Carta is dead once and for all. The laws only apply to peasants, not to our nobility.

I think we should demand she be arrested for treason. After all that’s what she is doing.
I think this is the real reason they are going after AG Gonzales.
If he tries to prosecute Pelosi under the Logan Act, they will say it is all because of politics.
