Jihad: While we're glad the Saudis managed to foil another attack on their oil facilities, it was the third time since 9/11 that al-Qaida has tried. It won't be the last.

Perhaps the most devastating attack Osama bin Laden could deliver on America wouldn't be in America. It would be in Saudi Arabia, on its oil supply. Saudi Arabia is the world's top oil exporter, and Osama has called for attacks on its refineries and pipelines expressly to cripple our economy.

Though details are sketchy, the Saudis say they broke up a terror plot to attack oil installations, arresting more than 170 suspects. Police seized weapons and millions in cash from seven armed cells.

Al Qaeda ultimate goal in the Middle East is to control Saudi Arabia and topple the AL Saud ruling royal family. If we leave Iraq before we crush the terrorists there, Al Qaeda terrorists will achieve their goal and control Saudi Arabia and with this comes the worst nightmare that the US and the world would have faced since WW II.

Yes but at least Democrats will be able to ride Bush's Defeat In Iraq to electoral victory, which is the important thing.

We lost 30,000 Americans in 30 months in Korea, because Truman deemed Kim il-Sung's takeover of South Korea to be a threat to the world.

Millions of Koreans were displaced or killed before South Korea was freed and a settlement was reached. A military draft and full press censorship were put into full swing.

The main difference between Bush and Truman is that nearly 10 times as many Americans died in Truman's war.
