The problem comes if you ever need it and have to deal with the heat after the fact of breaking the law.

Just because a store tells you that you cannot carry doesn't mean it is against the law to do so. Private organizations can make all kinds of policy for their property but they cannot make actual laws in the process of doing so.

Thus just because a mall has a sign posted "no guns" doesn't mean jack. The most you can get nailed for criminally is trespassing, if you even get nailed for that. Trespassing is a very minor ticket when you just saved your or someone else's life.

Each State of course is going to be different, but that's why I live where I do.

Don't ask, don't tell is the best policy for CCW.

Au contraire', the most you can do is get caught, mouth off, get on tv, gin up some hate and discontent, and ruin it for everyone, etc., etc. We have a good thing in MO these days and I am going to do everything I can to keep it this way, if not better.
