It’s no coincidence such a gathering is taking place on May 1st. They should get some old Soviet Union military vehicles to drive in the parade.

And the idiot Pubbies think these socialists will somehow turn into conservatives if we just legalize their presence in the land of Milk and Honey??

What dangerous fools we have as elected officials.

A few years ago I was living in Sonoma, Ca and there was this small illegal immagraton rally and all I could think to myself is, they are illegal why are they protesting? Where are the immgration agents? I guess common sense is very far off these days. I mean your ILLEGAL and should be deported, yet you are protesting for your rights? Huh? I know, I know they didn’t cross the border, the border crossed them. I get it now.

Just for everyones information, May day parades, the 1st day of May, are what the Communist Party celebrates. This should tell everyone with what type of people and situation we are dealing.

I have to say this is all thanks to Bush and his AG for not enforcing the law. When they are gone "good riddance to bad rubbish", as the saying goes.

The simple (and sad) explanation is that, if ICE detained everyone en masse for whatever purpose, the resulting civil rights lawsuits would gum-up the works for years. All it would take is one U.S. citizen to be accidentally rounded up with the rest.

Heck no. They are all invited to an after rally gathering at him home. The whole event is just the annual (biannual, triennial?!) party for him and his closest family and friends.

"Millions of workers, men and women without documents and their supporters who are, in fact, legal United States citizens will heed the call to not go to work," said Juan Jose Gutierrez, national coordinator of Latino Movement USA

Boycott organizers are demanding amnesty and the chance for the estimated 11 million to 12 million illegal immigrants in the United States to earn citizenship. Gutierrez compares their struggle with that of American colonists against British rule more than 200 years ago.

"The great slogan of the American Revolution was 'No Taxation Without Representation,'" he said. "Millions of human beings today and for many years are being taxed, and they have absolutely no representation (BECAUSE THEY ARE ILLEGALS!). In fact, they are being bashed every day and humiliated."

We will march for human dignity, for new laws that recognize the valuable contribution of immigrants to our nation and communities," the Rev. Charles Dahm

May 1st. We will not sell any vegetables or fruits," said Pedro Astorga of the 7th Street Market Merchants Association.

"Let's show the government, corporations and racist politicians that a powerful, united people's movement has the power to win civil rights, workers' rights and make history," ANSWER, a coalition civil rights groups says on its Web site. "No business as usual on May 1!"

Internationally, labor unions and other groups engaged in a one-day boycott of American products called the “Nothing Gringo Boycott”, particularly in Mexico and Central American countries.[6] It was later reported that this boycott had little effect on the American economy.[7] Demonstrations were also held in major cities across Mexico.

Coalition of Catholic groups, immigration advocacy organizations, and labor unions. Hermandad Mexicana, an affiliate of the Mexican American Political Association, the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights-Los Angeles (CHIRLA), Amigos de Orange, and local MEChA chapters all promptly joined

New York Times,

“ The boycott grew from an idea hatched by a small band of grass-roots advocates in Los Angeles, inspired by the farmworker movement of the 1960’s led by Cesar Chavez and Bert Corona. Through the Internet and mass media catering to immigrants, they developed and tapped a network of union organizers, immigrant rights groups and others to spread the word and plan events tied to the boycott, timed to coincide with International Workers’ Day.[11]

Numerous anti-war, left-wing, and socialist groups also endorsed the Boycott. The ANSWER coalition, in particular, provided signs and mobilized supporters to attend demonstrations. While the American Civil Liberties Union took no official stance, it offered advice and information for protesters on its website.[20]

The AFL-CIO also endorsed the protests

The AFL-CIO’s executive vice president, Linda Chavez-Thompson, stated:

“ We believe that there is absolutely no good reason why any immigrant who comes to this country prepared to work, to pay taxes, and to abide by our laws and rules should be relegated to this repressive, second-class guest worker status.

Cinnamon Stillwell of the San Francisco Chronicle,

“ The one thing the boycott did achieve was to expose the lie that the country cannot function without the labor of illegal immigrants. While some may have been inconvenienced by the experience, the economy hardly came to a grinding halt. It seems there are still some jobs Americans are willing to do.[70]

May 1 will be a good day for some ICE agents to put in overtime at the rally.

Let's hope it backfires on them again. Most Americans weren't aware the problem was so bad before their last march when they "demanded more rights." All they need to do is give a repeat performance of the last march with their Mexican flags and signs calling us "pilgrims while telling us that this is THEIR LAND and for us to go back to Europe."

Congress is going to be flooded with calls from angry American CITIZENS.....again!!!! They felt the heat last time, and they'll feel it again this time. This is what happens when you have a bunch of illiterate people who are being used by evil men and women. They don't have understanding enough to know that this will backfire on them. It's unfortunate that these greedy traitors in our government don't understand that they are laying the ground work for huge, deadly race riots in the not too distant future.
