Ultra-Violent Gang Found in 42 States(MS-13 not in your state...think again.)

SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador – Cliques of the ultra-violent Latin American MS-13 gang have been identified in 42 U.S. states, according to the director of an FBI task force, speaking at a conference here.

Another violent group, the 18th Street Gang, is in 37 states, said Brian Truchon, director of the FBI MS-13 National Gang Task Force, or NGTF.

As WND reported, Truchon spoke at the Third Gang Enforcement Conference 2007 conference, which is focusing on MS-13.

"One thing we figured out with the on-going cases was that Los Angeles is our starting point," Truchon stressed. "When the gang migrates throughout the U.S., there is always a road back to L.A. From L.A., there is always a road back to Central America."

(Story continues below)

The FBI has identified 13 core cities for MS-13 in the U.S.: Los Angeles, Washington, Baltimore, New York, Houston, Charlotte, Sacramento, Seattle, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Omaha, Newark and Boston.

Currently, the FBI has in excess of 110 MS-13 investigations in 40 different FBI field offices. For the 18th Street Gang, the FBI has more than 20 on-going investigations in 15 FBI field offices.

The FBI has found foreign connectivity from MS-13 and the 18th Street Gang back to El Salvador, Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras.

"One piece of information a particular FBI field office develops may fit into an international puzzle," Truchon emphasized. "The information might actually help us with a case we are developing in an entirely different city."

Truchon said individuals in gang cliques in the U.S. often are influenced by gang members in Latin America, even from within the prisons.

"Gang members in a prison in El Salvador are able to reach out from prison and kill gang members in L.A.," he said.

Truchon reported that deported members from Hollywood Locos Clique incarcerated in Ciudad Barrios Prison, El Salvador, were found to be able to impact MS-13 gang members in Virginia. Sailors Clique MS-13 gang members imprisoned in Quezaltepeque, La Libertad, El Salvador, were also found to exert an impact on gang members in Virginia.

"We find a great deal of movement and communication between gang members in the U.S. and their counterparts in Mexico and El Salvador," Truchon said.

The FBI has NGTF has instituted a criminal file/fingerprint retrieval initiative known as the Central American Fingerprint Exploitation (CAFÉ). The CAFÉ initiative has been developed to retrieve the criminal fingerprints from the countries of El Salvador, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, and Honduras.

FBI currently has 3 million criminal fingerprints from Central America and Mexico. Preliminary results on test batch of first 180,000 prints show over 3,800 hits (11.75 percent) on existing records 86 hits to active wants. Offenses include murder, armed robbery, sexual assault, burglary, numerous drug related charges, and immigration violations.

The FBI's MS-13 task force also has entered a Transnational Anti-Gang Program to place FBI agents permanently in El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala and Chiapas, Mexico, to investigate and counter trans-border gang activity.

"We are making progress in understanding the international connectivity and flow of people and information between MS-13 and 18th Street in the U.S.," Truchon told the conference. "We are going to pursue joint proactive investigations with Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras. We will apply the analytic efforts of the National Gang Intelligence Center to the effort."

Truchon said that in the FBI's efforts to disrupt and destroy gangs like MS-13 and 18th Street, it has to "reach across jurisdictions, not only from the federal NGTF at the FBI, but now across to law enforcement officers in Mexico and Central America."

Joe Trias, a program manager overseeing gang investigations at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, headquarters, told the conference Operation Community Shield has arrested some 1,362 MS-13 members or associates since the program was initiated in February 2005. Of these, 343 were arrested criminally. Some 637 of the arrestees were found to have had criminal histories.

El Salvador was by far the leading country of origin for some 754 of the arrestees, followed by Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras.

"We believe that MS-13 controls the smuggling corridors along the Mexican border, for both drugs and weapons," Trias told the conference.

"MS 13 is not going away," Trias said. "We are seeing second generation MS-13 members and MS-13 recruitment is increasing. We also see signs of a more formal criminal structure developing within MS-13, both in the United States and in Central America."

For those who think that illegals will just go home if they can't find work and/or if benefits are cut off...think again. MS-13 is looking for members. No experience necessary. Must speak Spanish. No gringos need apply.

More Americans killed by illegal aliens than Iraq war, study says

When you start digging into the numbers the only ones that can be sourced with the feds are the number of American murdered in 2005: 16692
I have seen federal numbers for illegals held in jail ranging from 19.3% to 27% of the federal prison population.

Here's a sampling of USA cities wanted for murder. What you'll see is that in big USA cities like LA or NYC most of the murderers are Hispanic. Unknown are the % of illegals. In smaller cities the FBI will post the nationalities of the murderers. About 25% of the most wanted are illegals wanted for murder. This number agrees with the percentage of illegals incarcerated in federal prisons. +-25%

Pictures of top 10 most wanted in LA. Up until recent stories about crime in LA posted by the LA Times--the pictures included the nationality of the murderers. They were all foreign nationals and mostly Mexican.

Wanted for Murder in New York City.

Chicago wanted for Murder

Philadelphia wanted for murder

San Francisco wanted for Murder

New Orleans wanted for Murder

Pictures of suspects wanted for murder in Washington DC

FBI USA 10 most wanted. (two of 10 are Mexican nationals)

There are currently no exact numbers on the number of Americans killed by illegals. Part of the reason is that the government deliberately obscures the number. I talked on the phone with the head of statistics for the US Bureau of Prisons. He said his office wasn't allowed to publish the number of illegal alien murderers. Rather they were forced to put legal and non legal residents in the same category. I talked to ICE. They put out detailed numbers on illegal child molestors. However, they put out nothing on illegal murderers.

Part of the reason for the silence on the matter is that there is evidence to suggest that most Americans being killed by illegals are black--as is the suggestion in this LA Times Article.

All that said, it could be argued that if you include the number of illegals in state and local prisons the number of illegals in jail shrinks to 6% of the total prison population. Never the less if you multiply 16692 (the number of americans murdered in 2005) * .06 (illegal alien percent of total prison population) * 4 (the number of years the US has been in Iraq). The result is that more americans (4006) have been killed by illegals than have been killed in the Iraq war.

This point needs to be hammered home. Just as the liberals have hammered home the point about americans killed in Iraq.

To look at other USA cities go here http://stlouis.fbi.gov/ and replace stlouis with the city you want.

The press secretary for the California Republican Party is the son of illegal aliens who came the USA 35 years ago. In this article he chronicles how in recent years there has been a massive change in the number and kind of illegals coming north. Including a crimnal element that is causing a deterioration in the quality of life of Americans. Consider this article Illegal aliens murder 12 Americans daily Death toll in 2006 far overshadows total U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq, Afghanistan

People have been referring to the Captains Quarters as a rebuke to the assertions of the article. The Captain's Quarters makes the assertion that -- for the numbers to be true -- it would have to be the case that a small number of people were committing a lot of crimes. That is to say far outside the statistical norm for the USA. The problem is that he didn't actually check the federal stats. As it happens it is the case that illegals tend to be very repeat offenders.

Below are some government stats to back up the article's assertioms

From the FBI crime statistics * An estimated 16,692 persons were murdered nationwide in 2005, an increase of 3.4 percent from the 2004 figure. * Murder comprised 1.2 percent of the overall estimated number of violent crimes in 2005. (Based on Table 1.) * There were an estimated 5.6 murders per 100,000 inhabitants.

Illegal Alien Crime Wave

On April 7, 2005, the US Justice Department issued a report on criminal aliens that were incarcerated in federal and state prisons and local jails. In the population study of 55,322 illegal aliens, researchers found that they were arrested at least a total of 459,614 times, averaging about 8 arrests per illegal alien. Nearly all had more than 1 arrest. Thirty-eight percent (about 21,000) had between 2 and 5 arrests, 32 percent (about 18,000) had between 6 and 10 arrests, and 26 percent (about 15,000) had 11 or more arrests. Most of the arrests occurred after 1990. They were arrested for a total of about 700,000 criminal offenses, averaging about 13 offenses per illegal alien. One arrest incident may include multiple offenses, a fact that explains why there are nearly one and half times more offenses than arrests. Almost all of these illegal aliens were arrested for more than 1 offense. Slightly more than half of the 55,322 illegal aliens had between 2 and 10 offenses.

CRIMINAL HISTORY

More than two-thirds of the defendants charged with an immigration offense were identified as having been previously arrested. Thirty-six percent had been arrested on at least 5 prior occasions; 22%, 2 to 4 times; and 12%,1 time. Sixty-one percent of those defendants had been convicted at least once; 18%, 5 or more times; 26%, 2 to 4 times; and 17%, 1 time. Of those charged, 49% had previously been convicted of a felony: 20% of a drug offense; 18%, a violent offense; and 11%, other felony offenses. Twelve percent had previously been convicted of a misdemeanor. Defendants charged with unlawful reentry had the most extensive criminal histories. Nine in ten had been previously arrested. Of those with a prior arrest, half had been arrested on at least 5 prior occasions. Fifty-six percent of those charged with a reentry offense had previously been convicted of a violent or drug-related felony. By contrast, under half of those charged with alien smuggling, a third of those charged with unlawful entry, and just over a quarter those charged with misuse of visas and other charges had previously been arrested. The criminal histories of these defendants were generally less extensive: more than 70% had been previously arrested fewer than 5 times. I don’t know the significance of it, but Latino gangsters tend to tack “13” onto the end of their gangs. MS13, Sur13, Sureno13, etc... Anytime you start seeing graffiti with “13” in it, odds are it’s Hispanic gangsters, but not necessarily MS13.

Personally, I would give the FBI more credibility than some anonymous FR source like you. LOL

MS-13 National Gang Task Force

“We established the MS-13 National Gang Task Force in 2004 to coordinate the investigative efforts of federal, state, and local agencies against MS-13 gang targets. MS-13 members and associates have been identified in more than 30 states and have a significant presence in Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, and Washington, D.C.”

13 represents the 13th letter of the alphabet or M standing for La Eme (The MExican Mafia). SUR 13 is a recruiting gang for the more powerful La Eme so when Surenos(Southerners) go to prison they are drafted and initiated to La Eme. Although I am not sure where MS13 stands in the scheme of things.

14 is a common Latin gang sign as well but it signifies La Eme's rival the Nuestra Familia (Our Family) which is also a violent prison gang. The recruiting gang of NF are called the Nortenos(Northerners).

I would like to thank both democrat and republican for the mess this country is in today. Your selfish need for personel gain and life long political office has taken the lead, leaving our country rotting from within. What ever happened to America first. You throw around the word Patriotic but you have no clue what it is to be a Patriot, just ask a military person or veteran, he or she will tell you what it feels like! We need a leader and people of substance and courage to make the hard decisions to turn this country around. Congress today reminds me of a kindergarten class so don’t look there!
