What happened to the companies that made all their own product rather than find someone else to do part of it? Does anyone know anything about Newman’s Own animal food? It is expensive and their site says it is safe.

Don’t know but i think it is a distribution thing. I worked at Richman’s Ice Cream in the 70’s and we made Pop Cycles. would you rather get one trucked from Idaho for a couple of days or from the farm fresh (next to Cow Town Rodeo) New Jersey. — If you lived in Philly.

I know that Newmans’ Own salad dressing is made by LiDestri Foods in Fairport NY.
