I'm sorry we split on the Rudy issue. He's not my first choice. Newt is. But Newt's not in the race yet, and maybe won't be. Fred Thompson is my second choice; he's not in the race either, but I think he will be. Rudy is my next choice. He's not a conservative socially. I will not claim that. He IS a conservative defense-wise. I don't think the social agenda will be hurt because I believe Rudy wants strict constructionist judges; I have a real hard time with Romney because I knew his father and I think he's a weasel chip off the old block in the way he shifts positions; and while I WILL vote for McCain over any DUmbocrat at any time, I cannot abide what he did over the years even though his position on the War in Iraq is correct.
I haven't had time to go over all the posts, but I'm sorry folks got themselves banned and embittered. We need to GROW by ADDITION not subtraction.

I almost got in trouble once. I was new then, and said something wrong. I apologized and retracted whatever it was I said (don’t even remember now what it was). So I can understand how someone new can screw up, but after you’ve been here awhile, you should have some idea of what is crossing the line.
