Took him 6 years to say that.
And the reason they are not is...?
... waiting ...
... waiting ...
The title is from Scrappleface, right???
Nope. It is the actual title of the story. Just click on the story link.
Why is it no one beleives him?
I got it. Good one. lol!
Followed, but not enforced. Isn’t that what he really means?
Let’s round up all our illegals and dump them off in the nearest “sanctuary” city!
Yeah but he had his fingers crossed behind his back.
I welcome/plead/demand that the National Guard by deployed to San Francisco and other cities around here to restore order and ensure enforcement of immigration laws.
ping
What a typical, limp, wet-noodle statement by the Prez.
And that’s not to mention his long record of pro-illegal policies.
Want to stop the sanctuary city” problem?
Easy..... Stop all federal funds to any state wherein the leaders knowingly allow it.
Then prosecute the leaders that allowed or supported such sanctuary’s.
Start with San Francisco and this would be done within a couple of months.
It’s hard to believe the President cares about the borders, but I am glad he said this. On Newsom: I wish the Coingress was still in Repub hands, AND, that Congress voted to cut off any and all federal funds for sanctuary cities, including Medicare.
Get rid of every bit of the guest worker program, and he might just have an idea.
Thanks for sharing, Dubya.
It’s been six years, three months and six days since your inauguration.
Nice of you to bring that up now, pal. The horse is out of the barn.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
The man is a comedian. Such lip service! Not even “Immigration laws WILL be followed”, or MUST be followed. Just should. I sure wish the IRS would tell me I “should” pay my Federal income taxes. Gee, you know I REALLY should, but I just don’t think I’m gonna...
Bush continues to be a severe embarrassment on the issue of immigration. Too little, too late you idiot! If Bush had cracked down hard on illegal immigration, he would never have lost the Senate.
I don’t mean deporting those here, but if he just slammed the door on the border shut and prevented illegals from just walking across the border 13 million at a time, the 80% of the electorate who has been demanding border enforcment would have turned out.
At least then, Convervative Republicans and Libertarian Independence would have had a reason to turn out and vote, rather than stay home.
Too little, to late, Senior idiota!
Personally, I think that it's his stance - or non-stance - on immigration that cost the GOP the election, not Iraq. If he's not willing to defend our borders, why the heck is he trying to defend Iraq?
