Here are some pictures of Colonel Michael Steele Woah! I think you have the wrong Steele. The article says "Lieutenant Colonel William Steele." The captions to the pics you linked say "Col. Michael Steele."

Just heard a blurb on TV that said he provided "unmonitored" cell phone access to prisoners in his facility.
I'm not saying we need to find a wall and a blindfold somewhere, but that's about as much of an open and shut case of treason as you can get these days, if it's true.

He’s not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but these accusations don’t seem to rise to the level of a court martial to me. Two things stand out as offensive, the cell phone and the documents, but both can be explained as violations that were more bureaucratic than malicious. If so, someone should have told him to resign, not had him arrested.
If, of course, the accusations are true.
