There used to be a saying that Liberals believe America is bad for the world, while Conservatives believe the world is bad for America.

We're at a point where no Leftists and a dwindling number of Conservatives support the WOT (even on FR--especially lately).

My own fervant support for the WOT hasn't changed since 9-11. But for most Americans, the answer is, yes, the war is over. And that's the seed of a great tragedy to come.

The way I look at this war is, it’s the Cold War, and it’s 1952.
This is a guerrilla war on a world wide scale, and guerrilla wars, and counter-insurgency’s are the hardest kind of wars to fight, especially for Americans as we are impatient.
