Apparently someone in the capitalist media world is willing to pay her millions of dollars a year because she brings in good ratings.
However, I am glad they are not paying her with my money.

Here is an honest answer.
From the market, what she can command and bring to sponsors is what she is worth.
I think a sponsor would want to know whether her fans have two nickles or brain cells to rub together to get those millions and more back.
I personally don’t see it...

I don’t think she is worth 40 million a year, but if someone is willing to pay her that then really that is not my concern as long it is not my money. This is America afterall. Some here forget that sometimes.
To: NotJustAnotherPrettyFace
Maybe if rendered down into her essential elements of lard and bullcrap.

Within a capitalist system, no one is overpaid since one can always go to a competitor if they are under paid.
The irony here is that Rosie is a socialist who is making as a result of the capitalist system.

If she gets paid $40 million a year, my garbage man is worth twice that. At least he takes the garbage away.
To: NotJustAnotherPrettyFace
If somebody paid her that, she was worth it to them!
Long live the free market!

Oh, I don't know. I think she could be very helpful to certain types of advertisers. You know, like outfits who hawk multi level marketing schemes. Or companies who run hours worth of infomercials late at night. Or people selling books and videos that "prove" Bush planned 9-11. And so on.
In other words, advertisers who are striving to reach out to that unheralded but demographically huge niche market of people under 50.
No, not people under 50 years of age. I'm talking about people with IQs under 50. I think they'd believe Rosie.
