I actually don't get it, all this hoopla about speaking "ladylike" as if it's a rare thing. All the women in my family, myself included, and all my girlfriends behave and speak in a polite and decent way aka "ladylike". This is again, the result of the liberal movement which make normalcy seem out of the ordinary and doing the right or doing your job as unusual behavior. And as far as I am concerned, judging all the women on this forum, they all behave "ladylike". So let's keep it up ladies and annoy the liberals :)

No, “too” is separated as independent.

No, too is separated as independent.
Isn't what the eldery Palm Beach voters said in 2000 when they voted for Buchanan and blamed the ballot design? :)

It’s been 42 years since high school English class, (no college)
I hereby resign my position as a grammar policeman.
You’ll probably notice that I’ve never had a typing class either.

I can’t even subtract right. It’s been since 1963. That would be 44 years, not 42 as I stated.

Me Talk Pretty One DayHmm. I thought Naked was Sedaris's first book.
That was just all over the place here in North Carolina when it came out (I live not too far from Raleigh, where he grew up).
Absolutely brilliant! There are parts I still re-read on occasion and still laugh out loud over.
In some of his later books, the gay agenda (or maybe it was just his own life story) seemed to overwhelm the overall narrative.

There are many words to describe Hillary. “Ladylike” is not one of them.

I didn’t learn a damned thing in college. I had an mean old bat for an English teacher in 8th grade. We all hated her. She was mean but she made us learn. I bless her every day.

Ah. Don’t say anything about that extra ‘n’. It fell off of one of the posts at the top of the page.

I hated English in high school, I must have taken about 8 years of it.

I think you’re right. Me Talk Pretty was just the first one I read...and you’re right that the gay agenda swamped his later books. Too bad.
