I heard this last night on the news. So sad. We just had a killing of a policeman in Utica last week. It was a deliberate act by two men, I think, who decided to shoot a cop. Bless our men in blue (and gray). Prayers going up for them and their families.

I’ve been watching WGY Albany coverage of developing situation. House that suspect was holed up in is burning to the ground. No word on status of suspect yet. Just before 6 P.M. some sounds of either/and shots fired, tear gas or suppression grenades (unclear) were heard, fire began inside the house, and police were seen on front porch of house looking in windows. After that, firefighters were allowed to begin pouring water on fire, but house is still burning and is total loss.

the fire was awful. Such a nice house. I think troopers were shot at but nobody was killed. One may have been shot in the arm but it’s not serious (maybe it was one of those he shot earlier. I’m not clear on that.).
