Why is everybody ‘excited’ about a 13k DOW.

Well, for starters, we’re set up to make money on the market as long as it remains over 10k.

I’m pleased as hell about the stockmarkets performance to date. I find anyone thats not to be...well, ‘odd’ to be blunt.

You don’t seem to like the whole ‘stock market’ idea very much...

You're a "the glass is completely empty no matter how full it is" kind of guy, aren't you?

All that exporting of jobs and factories is paying dividends [no pun intended].

Investors think this is good now. Voters will decide if this is good on election day. Majority wins.

Alcoa (AA) is trading near its 52 week high. Lots of folks buying aluminum foil, I suppose.

Investors think this is good now. Voters will decide if this is good on election day.

Any voter with a pension, IRA or 401k is an investor whether they know it or not, and most of them are.

Wow—talk about a “every silver lining has a cloud” attitude. LOL

We’re up by $100k + since 9/1/2006—small cap, midcap & S&P 500 indexed funds, a few individual stocks here and there). Hubby is a good investor.
