This bill is more than just the gun issue. It is about private medical records being given to LE. Who in their right mind would trust government keep this confidential information? How many times have we heard of the VA losing over 100,000+ names and social security numbers on lost laptops?

As others have pointed out all it will take is reclassifying a new mental illness and every gun owner would be trapped thanks to the fact that the NRA supported it. No thanks.

Yep we are on dangerous ground here. All a court has to do is declare someone a danger to themselves or others, and there go your gun rights. A person who is a danger to themselves or others should not be on the street but should be in jail or an institution.
